Stand or Ground
Which do you prefer for bow hunting? I love treestands, every since I bought one few yrs back thats all i use...I have a climber and chain on and a ladder stand which I have never used yet but maybe this yr I will break it out!

It depends where you live. When I was in New York and Pennsylvania...tree stands, but you could see a lot on foot as well. In New Mexico...ground. In Texas....if you have trees I'd say tripod or treestand. Otherwise a ground blind or lay up next to some brush.

At the moment: I just got a tree stand this season. I have hunt both. I prefer a good tree stand. I hunt some places where a stand is not an option..... Given the choice, gimme a tree....

I am just starting to look into bow hunting, but i do want to try out a tree stand, been looking at some and wal mart. I am also maken a hunting blind . i want somthing that will help cut the cold wind

Treestand. Helps to dissapate your scent. Make sure you are at least 15 feet up.

I am a tree stand hunter. This year I dont think I will be climbing in to many tree stands though. I cant get a full extension of my arm so I really dont want to do a tumbleing act out of a tree.2 years ago my son bought me a Summit climbing tree stand. This thng is like gold. I get in it and I fall asleep most of the time. nice thing is I cant fall out of it. You sit down in it. And it is so easy to climb with. evan with a bum shoulder I can climb with it and be 20 feet in the air in seconds. When he came back from Iraq he bought it for me with his combat pay. I asked him why he did that and he said you always wanted one but you never buy anything for yourself so I bought it for you. God I love this stand. It is so comfrontable. It is the only way to hunt. and it only weighs 7lbs. It has shoulder harness's I have 9 other tree stands all loggy byou lock ons and I dont think I will evan put these out this year.
