January will be eight years for me. I'm a SGT in a department with 73 sworn. I get tired of it at times, but I nearly double over in pain if I consider doing anything else. I've been driving a desk as of late, but I'm going back to the streets in a few months. My time on the desk was refreshing at first, but now it just tells me how miserable I would be doing anything else.

I had a chance to work for the U.S> Marshal's. I was going to have to do 2 years under cover as a Narc but I could not see me going to jail and only the head honcho would know who I was till I was released. My friend went and is in the US Marshals now
