Jess use a .40 grain bullet not any H.P.'s for trying to test it for accuracy like CCI Mini- Mags

I have several 10/22's I have shot 2 of them pretty extensivley and never had a problem with either one. I just bought a cheap scope for one of them rings and a base plate. I was going to scope the other one but found out I already did. Sheeese. So tomorrow I am going out to shoot it and see where it is hitting. I dont remember if I sighted it in or not. I have some 30 rnd mags for it and a couple of 20's that lock together. I figure I'll go shoot some grouse and rabbits and with out a doubt a few porcupines. I an going over to Fort Drum to shoot them. That lace is loaded with porky's. See how many rounds I can get into it before it fianaly hits the ground. And still no snow here yet. Unbelieveable.

It snowed upstate here Bob 8'' last night. I have a scoped 10/22 and it is a cheap scope but the 10/22 never fails. I found it most accurate using CCI Mini -Mags Ammo, I have a case of them here.

I like to do a lot of rimfire shooting, and really was more interested in having a gun that will shoot the cheap bulk ammo than an accuracy piece. My 10/22's with 40 grain Remington Thunderbolts is amazingly accurate for me. I was surprised to see the cheap 36 grain bulk shells shoot so well in this plinkster, like you say, you usually don't see real good accuracy with them. Of course, they may have made the gun to work better with the cheaper shells, to appeal to the cheapos like me!

I like it real well so far, need to get it out and shoot some more today. I was going to scope it, but I like the really nice sights it has.
