Safety on or off or do you even pay attention? I saw the topic from a photo thread. Personally I almost never use my safeties on my guns. I only do it when range or competition rules call for it. I've never used them and therefore have a greater trigger awareness because of it.

Safety off, hammer down on an empty chamber.

Loaded or unloaded I don't care....safety's off. If I store a gun loaded it's for home defense and only a nut case would leave the safety on....'"Oh wait mister scumbag while I try to fiddle the safety off". If it's stored unloaded it's as safe as it can be.

Now with toddlers running around different story.

um, my two loaded house guns are glocks so there's no external safety. they do have one in the pipe though.

Post why safey? just safely.
i posted do not care as deffernt guns get stored defferntly.

but i tend to think store safetly first.

guns are not loaded and not cocked. so some can not even "flip" on the satety.

Most of my guns are locked up and are stored unloaded. Defense weapons are loaded and ready to go.
