 Favorite holster?
Who makes you favorite hoster(s)? I know that it really boils down to personal preference, but.... I will be shopping for a couple of new holsters in the near future.
Who makes you favorite:
Concealed carry?
Shoulder?
Hip?
What qualities make them your favs?

I have spent alot of money on differnt holsters, from 100 dollar leather to 10 dollar nylon, and for me the best is a BagMaster model CNG cost around 15 bucks with a lifetime warranty. Its by far the most comfy I have ever used. It has a pice that prevents the holster from pushing together when u draw the weapon so you can reholster with ease

Well I spent $90 on a really nice leather Galco SOB (Small Of Back) holster and got rid of it in a couple weeks! It just sucked to carry. I also have a shoulder holster that my friend got for my birthday. I only wore it twice. It is uncomfortable and wears down your sholder after a half hour.
It's surprising how good the cheap ones are. I love my Fobus paddle holsters for the winter and my new pocket holster from http://www.frontiernet.net/~akim/index.html for the summer. Both cost less than $20 each!

20 ?? I am having a garage sale while I am on vacation. I have so many dang holsters and I dont use but a couple of them. And some of my hand guns I dont evan holster,, I carry them in gun boxes to the range like my High Standard Citation,,H&R 999,, and about 10 others. Only ones I holster are the ones I carry for self defense. I do holster my Jennings Stainless 22 cal just to carry it in my pocket. Just want the trigger covered and I dont keep one chambered in that, Only on duty and that is in a holster built into my utility belt so it cant be seen.

The Alessi CQC/S is by far my favorite. Holds nice and tight to the body, very well made, easy enough to draw from but not so easy you could lose the weapon in a tussle. And Lou is a pleasure to deal with. I now own two of them, one for the PCII and one for the G19.

For carrying my G-21 I use a Blackhawk Serpa. I really dig that retention button. I gotta get one like it for my carry gun...Makarov....but I don't think they make one. Maybe a they make a Walther PP holster. I think that would work.

Galco Summer (...something...) Comfort? Anyway it's the one that's IWB, leather and has the two close snap belt loopsand is slightly canted forward. I cant stand my first one. It was a leather clip-on and was straight up. I wear it if I'm just in shorts and just making a short run where I'm not planning to get out of the truck.

I have quite a few, but not many that I like. In the summer, I usually pocket carry in a cheapie Uncle Mikes. It takes the right kind of shorts for this. I have a SOB holster, but its hard to conceal without a jacket or heavy shirt. I used to have a IWB SOB type, but it has come up missing. Most of the IWB types are so uncomfortable...at least for me.

Fobus drop leg or belt slide for glocks, ace case ankle with calf strap for keltec .32. UTG universal shoulder rig for everything else, fits the taurus pt945 fullsize super good, hangs perfect.
I'm a lefty, so holsters are a big problem most of the time. Even that ankle rig is a right hander, I just wear it inside on the right leg, and draw backwards, but its still pretty quick with it butt forward. I figure I'll be on the ground on my back if I ever have to go to the ankle backup anyhow, I've practiced and it'll work.
I'm trying to find a left hand 'M7A1' shoulder rig, which is the across the chest strap leather shoulder set for a 1911. The veterans here will know what I'm talking about, these are supposed to be super friendly to wear, and real quick for in vehicle draw.
